Maximilian Hecker Live in Guangzhou

Before the show started, we waited there. I was closing my eyes for rest near the escalator, suddenly a man called "Hecker!". Eyes opened and a man in white t-shirt, Maximilian as well as some staff was coming up. We said Hi, and they found the entrance, got in. What a surpised!

Later, we kept on waiting...I couldn't remember what time exactly we got in. It must be after 8:00pm. I talked to some girls, and found they got the chance to Maxi's show last year, which I missed cos of school stuff!

The venue is not big, which is in Holiday Inn, called Sapphire. Less than 500 people I guess, probably around 300.
It's quite beautiful to see the piano only with lights in the middle of stage, three microphones only. Then Maximilian came out, with black suit, which made a great atmosphere there. I really love how he plays the piano, but some songs propably are not my tea. He talked with the audience, and we smiled, laughed a lot. There were too many flash lights coming from crowd's camera, breaking the feelings in some degree. After all, Maxi's concert is not a ROCK show, you know...I know he's handsome, but stopping the flash lights is much better!

15 minutes after the show began, the speakers didn't work! I felt it was like acoustic, which is so cool!!! But some people couldn't hear it, so complain. And 30 minutes later, I guess, Maximilian seemed to notice that problem, and even came down stage asking why... LOL! A Hong Kong fan next to me said "Is it the moment for us to take photos?!" INDEED! XD

He also drank Qingdao Beer... Oh, also did a gesture of cheers! LOL!!! But he coughed a little...  I also remembered he said he played new songs for us. And he asked "Do you think I'm talking too much?" All the audience answered "NO!"

I'm not a big fan of him, but I like several songs he performed. Sadly I can't tell their names... Later I'll find it out that some music just make me almost weep.

After the show I went to the greets & meets, he is a nice person, but he seemed a little bit tired...I know, many shows.

It's quite sad that I can't hear my favourite one "The Space That You're in"...

First signature I got

When brushing teeth this morning, suddenly thought of the first signature I got...
Probably cos I am going to see Maxi's concert tonight. lol!

Hmm, it was not a fangirl behavior at that time. The first signature I got is from a symphony of Russia. They came to Guangzhou for a concert, which was a cold cold evening, I remembered. We were waiting for bus or taxi, and then saw a few people there got Russian performers signing the tickets. I was just wondering and followed them. Then came up to a female, but she spoke Russian! Jesus! But she knew what I wanted. Can't remember how many I got in just one ticket... I just remember one of them is shape as Treble clef, such an art work!

Sometimes I think I'm a fangirl and sometimes not. When I got the chance to see the artists I like, signing is not the first thing came up to my mind, but chatting. I don't have a talk in depth but a happy greetings or something. Of course, I prefer photos as great memory, although camera doesn't love me! :$

Young girl, don't cry.

This month, September of 2009, seems to be a depressing one for many people I came across.
And I got a little bit upset too, but after I came across these things, these people, I think they need more help, and I know I can do something for them, encourage them and hope they will be fine.

1)
When going home on a bus, a girl, stranger next to me, talked to me about her failing in maths exam. I was preparing for my presentation and maybe she reckoned that I was older than her. She was interested in what I was doing, and started asking about my lessons. I found that she is a middle school student, 5 years younger than me. She told me that she cried after failed in the difficult maths exam. I didn't know what to say, but just told her some experiences I sum up...

2)
A girl (I know) has quarrel with his boyfriend for a long time. In some degree, they don't know each other well. Maybe the developing is a mistake. I was pretty shocked to see her crying after they meet these days and they seldom smile even sitting together, which is totally different from the days they were at beginning. I think, if they are just feeling tired, they can choose a broke-up way. Actually, when they want to communicate, they must calm themselves down.

3)
My roomate cried in front of me on 16th Sep, for the bad attitudes from others and complaints of herself. I was sad when I saw her crying along the way we walked. I was not good at words, but gave her some advices. "Sometimes you can't rely on others too much. Become more independent. When you receive those attitudes, sort them out to judge which benefits to you and does harm to you." I added "These days may be hard for you. But, just think it in a positive way, it's better for you to realise these sad things earlier, or you'll regret more in the future." I always encourage her to chase her dreams, instead of complaining herself.

4)
My cousin, is 7 years old, just grade one in primary school. I heard that she cried every night that she couldn't understand those difficult questions of many subjects. I was totally shocked to see her timetable, such as three Chinese lessons in a day. What's worse, they have to do the homework of writing many sentences while they can't write many Chinese characters! I didn't experience this kind of ridiculous thing! And my cousin seldom speak, which upsets every family member. I really don't know how to make her speak more.

5)
"When you are unhappy, you should ask yourself whether it is because you don't have what you need, or because you just want more." I've been thinking...

Perfect Symmetry - HK & SG - Travel Summer 2009 | Part 3

13 Aug

In the morning, we took MRT to Raffles Place. Walked along Singapore River, went to Merlion Park, of course! =D Famous landmark of Singapore! There were many people and I saw a man offering his snake for tourist to take a pic, funny but frightening! The snake looks like the yellow one Britney Spears once used in a performance of MTV awards! XD Then, going across the bridge, we came to St Andrew's Road, City Hall, musuems, theatre are almost staying around here. Dad said the building gets older and darker, compared to the time when he worked in Singapore many years ago! And I took a pic with Mr Raffles, statue! of course! XD He is great man you know! Founding this great country, Singapore!!! Later, we went to Raffles Hotel, just saw some lux shops. It's said that it is so magnificent. And I wanted to take pic with the doorman, with many many clothes still in hot summer, but he was busy... Then we went to Chinatown for lunch. OMFG again!!! (Sorry for my bad words...but I have to say!) It was F**King HOT!!!!!!! You can't imagine how hot it was!!!!!! Probably 60 degree C!!!!!! After visiting there, I think you won't feel hot anywhere else, even I came back Guangzhou, I feel GZ is not that hot anymore! The food is lovely and colourful, tastes well!!! =D Due to the extremely hot weather, I drank two big super-cold watermelon juice, delicious & yummy!!! You have to do that if you're gonna walk around Chinatown! I saw some buildings too, and it was quite strange that I saw three totally different style religious architecture there! STRANGE! But special too! =) Mom went to Vivo City again, and she wanted to look for some souvonirs.

Then, it's about to pick up the ticket at the venue!!! =D OMG!!! It's hot too!!! The line we, early-bird, stayed in is close to a machine which kept producing heat anyway! There were many Singapore teenagers, with their homework or books, and then I found that they are having lessons even in holiday, and they have to study Chinese, and I talked to them. I did say "sorry for my poor English" and they said "sorry for my poor Chinese" ! lol!   Then I came across Satomi, another boardy, from Japan! =D We talked a lot while waiting, taking a lot of pics!!! There were two support acts, one is from Singapore, one is from France. I've heard their songs before, good! =)

It was around half past to ten! Yeah 9:30 that Keane came out on stage!!! Singapore's show is really awesome, and I have to say Singapore one is better!!! 'Cause the crowd can almost sing every single songs as loudly as they can!!! Satomi and I stood in the first row!  I was pretty shocked and surprised to see Tom directed the mic to audience at the BEGINNING of SOWK!!! Usually he just did it later, not at the beginning of the song! You know, 'cause the crowd were so great!!! And Tom did direct the mic to audience for many times, and he enjoyed the super-screaming from the fans!!!   Tim almost kept putting his thumb to the audience!!!   And Richard and Jesse smiled and laughed to each other very often in the gig!   Oh!! I saw Richard taking pics of audience 3 or 4 times!!!  And I was in his photo! =D Hooray!!!!  And I touched Tom's arm too! So sweaty!!! Feels like water!!!    I did something never done before, but I just learnt it from other enthusiastic fans! =D I screamed "Richard, I love you!" after one song! And Richard turned his head to the audience to show that he wants to hear it again or hopes I screamed louder! XD I wondered whether Satomi was "frightened" by my screaming or not! lol! And I screamed Jesse's name too as soon as they picked down the earphone...so crazy!

We were so thirsty after the show!!! Thank the security men from LAMC, they are so kind and lovely during the whole concert!!! After the show, a kind man threw me the setlist directly!!! I don't know his name, but I saw him both in HK and SG. I hope someone can help me! It's also my first time to get the setlist!!! And many people asked me whether they can take a pic of it. Of course! =D And a security told me he has been to Guangzhou, and something like he had worded in China Southern Airline...  We did wait for the boys too, but were told that they've gone......In fact, it's not true, but I was satisfied enough, cos of meeting them in the airport...

Actually from the venue, Fort Canning Park to my hotel, Fort Canning Lodge, just 2 or 3 minute-walk! lol! Mom said I was lucky! OK, it's an exhausted day too! And I remembered a couple thought I was from Singapore too, and asked me how they can get to Singaproe Plaza...Sorry I didn't know.........I could not help...

I love Singapore! don't like Hong Kong really...

14 Aug

Flying back to HK. D**n!!! Mom and I almost spent a whole day in the traffic!!! Morning, the flight CX 714, plane is Boeing 777. After getting in HK, stayed in long line when in the entry... costed more than one hour! Learning from the lesson of coming to HK on bus, we decided to get back Guangzhou by train! OK, after Airport Express, train... When we arrived in GZ, it was around 19:00, I think. Then we had dinner and went home at 21:00, I think! Cos Mom managed to watch TVB's serial drama anyway! lol!!!

Perfect Symmetry - HK & SG - Travel Summer 2009 | Part 2

12 Aug

Many things happened very very unexpectedly! I never dreamt of that!

I can't forget this day!!! Lack of sleep last night, and had to get up early for the morning flight to Singapore for another Keane's gig. The hotel offered a shuttle bus, and in the whole trip there were just 6 people, including the driver! It was super-fast driving, although there were many traffic lights! At around 9:15 we arrived at the airport, but the weather seemed bad with rolling thunders! But I saw some flights continue! After
sending the suitcase at the table of Cathay Pacific in Terminal 1, the staff told me the boarding gate is quite far away, so I had to got there soon! Then I began find the way, and suddenly I found a man dressed like Tom and as tall as Tom! Yeah, it's Tom!!! I ran to send all my gifts to him and take a pic, cos I was afraid that I couldn't meet other members. I asked if we can take a pic, he answered "Yes!" =D At first, his facial expression was like, I following them on purpose, even in airport... Then he opened the fan and smiled =D, said, "Oh, it's pretty cool! Thank you!" And I smiled and said "I saw your HK show and fly to Singapore for your another show. See you tomorrow!" And a staff next to him (there were two), if I remembered, it may be their security, Andy! He said he saw the fan I used last night's show with lights on it! =D And you'll find on their official website, their PA, Beth, her new video of Asian Tour shows the fan at the last few seconds! =D

Later, about the safety check, need to stay in line. And I found Jesse and Tim were there!!! First I called "Jesse! Tim!", but no response, then I called "Jesse! Tim Rice-Oxley!", they turned back their heads together! XD   And I said hello to them, and wanted to take pics, Jesse nocked his head and Timmy smiled, but the airport security stopped me (I'm so sorry that I forgot the rules...>_<).    Next, it's the departure place. I went to a line, and suddenly found Tom, Colin, Scott were in the same line too, 7-8 people between me and them... next to Tom, Richard was in the next line too! I was soooo excited but now I regret that I did not go up to Richard, cos it was his turn to register... And then I found Timmy wondered which line is shorter! =D  After the departure room, I waited Tim to come out... And he was so nice!!! And asked me how was yesterday's show. I felt like I were dreaming and made my words in wrong order! 'Cause I never thought that I would meet them in person!!!     While in the boarding gate, I found Beth and other crew that I cannot tell their names... I went to have a chat with Beth, which is a very nice person too. =D   OMG again!!! 'Cause I found that Keane and I were on the same flight from Hong Kong to Singapore!!!!!!!! It's MY FIRST TIME to have this great and lucky experience with Keane...!

Oh, it's my first time to take a plane too! =) After getting on the plane, flight: CX(Cathay Pacific) 739, plane is Boeing 74A with two-floor... I saw other crew too, like Scott, Beth and many that I can't tell their names... Although there was rolling thunder, it continued to fly. Mom cheated me that I should keep openning my mouth while flying...but she didn't do that...-_- Ok, that's alright... I just felt noisy and I hated flying as well, although it's my first time (Dad even laughed at me, "What?! It's your first time to take a plane?!" -_- Oh common, you are my dad, how come you say that?!),  nearly 4 hours...When getting out of the plane, Mom saw Tom getting downstairs with earphone from second floor and said Hi each other, but I added "Oh My God!" XD lol! And we arrived at Changi Airport, I saw Jesse stayed in line already with headphone. Changi Airport, what a modern airport! =D

Then we took the MRT to hotel, on the way, two people asked me the stations, I knew it cos I did some work before going to Singapore! XD And they thought I was a Singapore local person. One is an old lady, the other one is a lady worked in Jarkata, Indonesia, who travelled in Singapore. We were together on the way, but we kept talking in English, my mom seemed to know a little. (But mom knows many enlish words about hotel, it did a great help later!)  When we got in the hotel, the venue is just the other side of the street, Fort Canning Park! Hooray! =D We found the electric cannot use for our digital cameras and mobiles, so mom asked for a ADAPTER! XD (I don't know how to say it, if she was not there, or I would draw a pic to the staff! lol!)

It was around five, we went to Vivo City to have dinner before getting into Sentosa! OMFG! I just did not adjust to the taste of the meal, although it's of some Chiense style, but I just can't ate it much... It was so strange!!! >_< Then we went to Sentosa by Express! Nice
train! =D Sentosa is so beautiful, and there were many lights on the trees! Dad said he had been swimming there when he saw my photos. =D  We went to Southernmost Point of Asia Continent, through a bridge, seeing the sea, such a fantastic view with many lights on the ships!  Next, it's the Underwater World, which I longed for very very long! XD It was great that not many people were there, cos it's late. It was cold there, and I saw many ocean creatures, some are lovely, some are frightening! We took many pics with them, so funny. XD Even there is a touchpool, but I was so scared... >_< Oh, the famous one must be the underwater tunnel, OMG!!! SO BEAUTIFUL! Like illusion! I did enjoy a pic with a very big fish that mom took! lol! like I was carrying it! XD  And Jelly is beautiful too, but they are dangerous thing if catching them while swimming in the sea...

Later, we went around City Link, a mall underground, close to City Hall MRT Station. OMG!!! I found Keane's UTIS limited edition CD+DVD in the hmv!!! I never thought that I can come across this anymore! OMG! OMG!...When getting back to hotel, I saw some people on the street just coming out of Fort Canning Park, cos the show of Lady Gaga just finished, they seemed high! =D Actually I wanted to see too. lol! After a whole day, exhausted... We stayed in Fort Canning Lodge. It's OK, and the air conditioner is freezing cold, although changed it!!!

Aug 12 2009, it's really a super-lucky day for me...
